Kinase Classification: Group TKL: Family TKL-Unique

TKL-Unique is a pseudofamily that holds TKL group kinases that have not been subclassified. This includes diverse unclassified expansions of kinases in Trichomonas, Dictyostelium, sponge and other characterized kinomes. Some of these may be clustered into families, but sequence classification of TKLs makes this challenging, as the domain is loosely conserved.
