Evolution

DRAKs are found in bilaterian animals, though absent from C. elegans. The human homologs are DRAK1 (STK17A) and DRAK2 (STK17B), and the single Drosophila homolog is Drak.

Domain Structure

DRAK kinases consist of a CAMK kinase domain with short to moderate N-terminal extension and a variable C-terminal extension.
