Kinase Classification: Group CAMK: Family MLCK
MLCK (Myosin Light Chain Kinase) contains kinases associated with muscle and myosins. The MLCK subfamily members are short proteins known to be myosin light chain kinases, while the Titin, Unc89 and Trio families are long or extremely long proteins with many immunoglobulin and fibronectin type 3 (FN3) domains. Unc89 and Trio proteins also have RhoGEF domains.
