I work on in vitro hybrid systems to assess physiological responses to treatment. Modeling of a human body on a chip. Innovation by bridging the insights of nanotechnology, biochemistry, stem cell biology, microscopy, programming and engineering, we can simulate a person's own physiology. Enabling personalized medicine at the vanguard of human hybrid systems technology, utilizing MEMS devices, surface patterning, electrophysiology, AFM equipment, and in vitro cell culture techniques connected by microfluidic channels. The system is especially unique in it's length of treatment, low-cost, well-defined constituents, and gravity based flow design.
