Kinase Classification: Group Other: Kinase Family RESK
RESK stands for REmote Secreted Kinases. It contains the SgK493 gene found in the original kinome analysis, a recently identified FAM69 subfamily and the DIA/DIA1R genes. Most members consist of a pseudokinase domain of highly divergent sequence and usually have a signal peptide at their N terminus. All have a number of highly conserved cysteines.
